Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers Brake & Alignment Technician position focuses on servicing and installing brake, alignment, and suspension components with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

The role includes testing and calibrating TPMS, battery work, wheel handling, and occasional offsite service. On-the-job training is provided; a valid driver’s license is required, and physical tasks are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies and rebalancing wheels.
• Replacing, rebuilding and recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and hand tools; assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles and operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services; providing excellent customer service.
