Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering exemplary customer service. Responsibilities include testing batteries, tire mounting, TPMS calibration, and driving to offsite or emergency road service calls.

Qualified applicants will have a valid driver's license, the ability to work at a fast pace, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds when required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires and wheels, rebalance wheels, and replace/calibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and assorted hand tools.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified staff when needed.
