Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components. You will test drive vehicles, service batteries, and operate service vehicles for offsite work, while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with the potential for quarterly bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary
