Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking Brake & Alignment Technicians to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components. The role includes testing batteries, TPMS, wheel work, and road service as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy parts throughout a fast-paced environment. Training is provided on the job.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Testing and installing batteries and TPMS components.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies and rebalancing wheels.
• Use of shop tools and equipment and assisting other technicians as needed.
• Test driving vehicles and performing offsite or emergency road service when required.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to colleagues as needed.
