Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment and suspension components, while delivering excellent customer service. The role includes battery testing/installations, tire mounting, wheel balancing, and TPMS recalibration.

You will work with tools as part of a team, assist colleagues, and may perform offsite road services as needed, with a focus on safety and speed in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds; bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering components.
• Test drive vehicles and perform offsite and emergency road services as needed.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace recalibrating TPMS components.
• Use hand tools and equipment; assist other employees and refer customers when appropriate.
