Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components with a focus on top-notch customer service. The role includes testing and installing batteries, tire work, TPMS calibration, and offsite/emergency road service support.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with physical demands such as lifting up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
