Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in the United States is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, and suspension systems, install parts, and perform offsite road services with excellent customer service. You will use service equipment and hand tools to complete high-quality work while delivering excellent customer service.

A valid driver's license, strong customer service, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
