Job summary

Ponaganset High School seeks an after-school Boys Tennis Assistant Coach to lead skill development and team participation. The coach will work under the Athletic Director and Principal, supervise players, and ensure safety and sportsmanship while promoting academic excellence.

The position requires current NFHS coaching certifications, a valid First Aid/CPR/AED, and a current BCI check. Responsibilities include scheduling practices and coordinating with school officials.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching adolescent students in competitive sports.
• Current National and State BCI checks as required.
• Active First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Coaches individual participants, small groups and teams in basketball skills.
• Supervises team during practices and games.
• Schedules practices and games with the athletic director.
• Monitors student-athletes’ academic performance and emphasizes academics.
