Job summary

HD Supply in Florida is seeking a reliable delivery driver to service customers with company-provided or rental vehicles. You will handle orders, inspect vehicles, and provide professional customer service on delivery issues while maintaining accurate records.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and an acceptable MVR; you will follow planned routes, perform vehicle checks, and communicate delivery updates to customers and the distribution center.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Company will monitor Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) regularly.
• Delivers orders using company-provided or rental vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders safely within service area and handles order issues.
• Loads inventory into trucks and unloads at customer sites using equipment.
• Reviews order manifests for accuracy of orders and routes.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT and internal policies.
• Maintains routine contact with the distribution center for delivery interruptions.
• Prepares and maintains vehicle and customer order records per policy.
• Contacts customers with delivery updates.
• Provides feedback to management on service and sales issues.
