Job summary

HD Supply in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a delivery driver to make on-site customer deliveries using company or rental vehicles. You will inspect and maintain vehicles, load and unload orders, and provide customer service on order issues. An acceptable MVR and a valid driver's license are required.

You will follow routes, review order manifests, and coordinate with the distribution center to handle interruptions. The role may involve overnight travel and lifting heavy items up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required or strongly preferred.
Acceptable MVR status and a valid driver’s license required.
2–5 years of delivery or related experience preferred.
Experience with wholesale distribution a plus.
Ability to operate material handling equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

Delivers customer orders safely within service area and follows planned routes.
Loads inventory into trucks and unloads orders at customer sites.
Reviews order manifests for accuracy of orders and daily routes.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT and company policies.
Maintains vehicle and customer order records and contacts customers for delivery updates.
Provides feedback to management on escalated issues.
