Job summary

HD Supply in Florida is seeking a delivery driver to transport customer orders using company or rental vehicles and to provide excellent service during delivery. You will inspect and maintain vehicles, monitor MVRs, and ensure accuracy of delivery manifests.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT-compliant inspections, and adherence to safety protocols. Expect routine coordination with the distribution center and direct customer interaction.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
2–5 years of related experience.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
No more than 2 minor accidents in 3 years.
No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.

Responsibilities

Delivers customer orders safely within service area, following planned routes and traffic laws.
Loads inventory into trucks and unloads at customer sites using material handling equipment.
Reviews order manifests to ensure accuracy of orders and daily routes.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and internal policies.
Maintains contact with distribution center for delivery interruptions or missing orders.
Prepares and maintains vehicle and customer order records per policy.
Contacts customers to provide updates on delivery statuses and escalates issues to management.
