Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years experience in the area.
• Clean driving record with ≤2 minor accidents in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past rolling 3 years.
• Wholesale distribution experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders safely within a service area, interfacing with customers on order issues.
• Follows planned routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Loads inventory into trucks and unloads orders at customer sites using material handling equipment.
• Provides exceptional customer service by being professional and polite during deliveries.
• Reviews order manifests to ensure orders and daily routes are complete and accurate.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and internal policies.
• Maintains routine contact with the distribution center for delivery updates and interruptions.
• Prepares and maintains vehicle and order records.
• Contacts customers to provide delivery status updates.
• Provides feedback to management on escalated issues.
