Job summary

HD Supply is hiring a delivery driver to serve customers with company-provided or rental vehicles. You will deliver orders in your service area, maintain delivery records, inspect vehicles, and provide customer service on order and delivery issues.

An acceptable MVR and a valid driver’s license are required, with operation of company or rental vehicles during the work week. The role requires routine adherence to safety regulations, route planning, and communication with the distribution center

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; typically 2–5 years of related experience.
Experience operating material handling equipment.
Clean driving record with limited accidents and moving violations.
Wholesale distribution experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Delivers customer orders safely within a service area and interfaces with customers on order issues.
Loads inventory into trucks and unloads at customer sites using material handling equipment.
Reviews order manifests to ensure accuracy of orders and routes.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and internal policies.
Maintains vehicle and customer order records as required.
Contacts customers to provide delivery status updates and resolve issues.
Provides feedback to management on escalated customer service matters.
