Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a delivery driver responsible for making customer deliveries using a company-provided or rental vehicle. You will inspect and maintain vehicles, keep delivery records, and ensure exceptional service on order and delivery issues.

A valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR are required, with ongoing monitoring of motor vehicle records. You will load and unload goods, follow planned routes, and communicate updates to customers while maintaining safety and compliance with DOT

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• 1+ years experience operating material handling equipment.
• Clean motor vehicle record with limited incidents and violations.
• Experience in wholesale distribution desirable.
• HS diploma or GED preferred with any relevant certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders safely within a service area using a company or rental vehicle.
• Load and unload inventory with material handling equipment while providing courteous service.
• Review manifests to ensure orders and routes are complete and accurate.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT and policy.
• Maintain communication with distribution center about delivery interruptions.
• Record vehicle and order information according to policy.
• Provide customers with delivery status updates.
• Escalate issues and provide feedback to management.
