Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Box Office Guest Services team member to welcome guests, sell and validate tickets, and maintain an organized box office area during events. You will manage guest lists, handle passes, and assist with inquiries and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in customer service, and solid MS Office skills. A friendly, energetic attitude and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of customer service experience; marketing experience preferred.
• Must interact well with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and direct guests at the box office.
• Operate the box office during show nights professionally and efficiently.
• Manage guest lists as indicated in contracts; distribute passes.
• Sell tickets to walk-up customers and verify identification.
• Process credit card payments and handle will-call tickets accurately.
• Use ticketing software to locate and manage reservations or orders.
• Answer guest inquiries about ticket availability, seating, and show details.
• Maintain an organized, secure box office area; assist with end-of-shift reconciliation and reporting.
