Job summary

The NOW Massage Little Italy is seeking a General Manager to lead our boutique through growth and expansion. The General Manager oversees Front Desk Associates, Massage Therapists, and administrative teams while ensuring seamless operations, top-level guest experience, and profitable business practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management and operational experience in the service industry.
• 2+ years of industry or likeminded business experience (operating a fast-paced, high-volume business)
• Must have HR related experience (hiring, performance management, career development).
• Must have experience managing operations based on set KPIs.
• Must have budget management experience.
• Must have business acumen, the ability to effectively manage and grow a business based on revenue, expenses, team performance.
• Proven track record in sales and building a recurring guest base with a sense of community,
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, listening, and computer skills.
• Must be a team leader and enjoy mentoring people.
• Membership program and/or wellness industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, hiring, and continuous development of the team, mentoring and coaching team members to excel in their roles and achieve their goals.
• HR responsibilities including performance management (document and delivery) and maintaining positive relationships within the team.
• Next-level guest experience, addressing on the floor issues, internal reviews, feedback and community engagement, with the ability to resolve guest issues and employee relations in a manner reflective of The NOW Brand Truths.
• Build and maintain team schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency while managing payroll and scheduling demands in a timely manner.
• Perform accounting duties, such as managing payroll, minimizing expenses, and executing inventory. Financial acumen is essential for adhering to and monitoring budgets and driving sales.
• Upholds our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance (including massage therapy laws).
• Planning and overseeing promotions and collaborations with local businesses to enhance our brand presence.
