Job summary

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh, a Kimpton property, is seeking an experienced kitchen leader. You will train and supervise chefs, manage labor and food costs, and ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards across all outlets.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred; apprenticeship or post-secondary experience beneficial.
• Managerial and production experience required in a hotel/resort environment.
• 3–5 years in management of high-volume hot/cold food production across multiple outlets.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and guide kitchen staff to meet hotel standard recipes and quality.
• Schedule culinary staff to ensure coverage while controlling payroll.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation of food per health regulations.
• Maintain cost and quality control, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Assist in special events, VIP functions, and staff functions.
