Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants seeks a frontline hospitality teammate to deliver exceptional guest experiences with food and beverage knowledge. You will greet guests, take orders, and help ensure memorable visits in a dynamic hotel/restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent wine and spirits knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests.
• Basic math skills, able to calculate the correct bill amount and use proper credit card and cash handling skills.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications (if applicable).
• Flexible schedule, evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests and promptly serve them food and beverages, receive and process orders in the POS system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure that guests have an outstanding experience and address any complaints promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, countertops, and work areas.
• Perform setup and breakdown of stations (deli, dessert, coffee, espresso).
• Prepare drink condiments when necessary.
• Assist with seating guests and answer phones as needed.
• Perform all other sidework.
• Be ready to take on responsibilities outside the job description.
