Job summary

JETSET Pilates in San Diego is seeking a General Manager to lead a high‑performing team, drive studio operations, grow memberships, and deliver an exceptional client experience. This hands‑on role combines business management with active instruction and community engagement, including completing the Instructor Training Academy and teaching 6–8 classes per week while maintaining 25 class times in studio.

You will mentor staff, manage schedules, and represent the brand in the local wellness

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations or general management experience in boutique fitness, hospitality, or luxury membership-model services.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams across multiple locations.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter with initiative and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong sales instincts with experience driving revenue targets and coaching others.
• Highly analytical with ability to build reports and make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding communicator who connects with clients and team members.
• Hands-on fitness instruction or coaching experience is strongly preferred.
• Passion for community building and local wellness.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop instructors and Studio Leads.
• Recruit and onboard new team members as needed.
• Provide consistent feedback and conduct performance conversations.
• Foster an engaging, accountable team culture.
• Identify and develop future leaders through mentoring and succession planning.
• Own daily studio operations and ensure exceptional hospitality.
• Manage class and staffing schedules; oversee facility operations and brand standards.
• Drive studio performance across memberships, utilization, retention, payroll, revenue, and expenses.
• Analyze KPIs and implement action plans; drive referrals and recurring revenue.
• Build relationships within the local community and support partnerships.
• Monitor financial performance and provide updates to ownership; optimize profitability and expenses.
