Job summary

Christian Dior Couture in Washington, DC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day non-selling functions of the boutique. You will oversee payroll, POS operations, shipping, after-sales, loss prevention, and supply orders while ensuring cost control and facilities maintenance.

As part of the leadership team, you will train staff, manage schedules, and coordinate with central distribution and corporate inventory control to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail store management with strong operations background.
• Full-time availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move/handle merchandise and fixtures.
• Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures; availability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with Company policies, funds safety, security, inventory; maintain records.
• Train, coach, and manage associates in operations tasks and procedures.
• Monitor receiving, transfers, damages, and RTVs to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure facilities comply with safety codes and ordinances; maintain security.
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts; coordinate with distribution and corporate inventory control.
• Produce and maintain operational reports and records; ensure back-of-house readiness.
