Job summary

Canopy by Hilton in downtown Grand Rapids seeks a reliable, detail-oriented Night Auditor to support overnight operations, guest services, and valet activities. This part-time role focuses on accurate audits and friendly service in a quiet, independent work environment.

Responsibilities include front desk registrations, room assignments, daily reports, answering phones, handling guest questions, and maintaining security and cleanliness during the night shift (11pm–7am).

Qualifications

• 1-2 years hotel experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Register guests at check-in and check-out, assign rooms and handle special requests
• Knowledge of hotel operations, policies, procedures, and internal rules
• Know brand operating systems and loyalty programs
• Know guest rooms, locations, amenities, and services offered
• Know room rates, packages, discounts, and promotions
• Handle checkout including late charges and cash procedures
• Bank out at end of shift following procedures
• Email daily reports to accounting
• Answer phones, handle mail and messages
• Assist guests with problems and questions and resolve issues
• Know the city and local attractions
• Maintain cleanliness in front desk, back office, and public areas
• Perform security checks and quiet hours compliance
• Oversee overnight valet services and luggage handling
