Job summary

Greenwich Hospitality Group in Westport, CT is seeking a Catering Manager to join a brand new boutique hotel and restaurant group, serving as a prime meeting and event destination. You will lead sales strategies, coordinate site visits and proposals, and build strong client relationships.

The role requires outside sales activity, group business management, and a focus on maximizing revenue across events and hotel rooms.

Qualifications

• University or college degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related major or professional area.
• Experience with OPERA and Delphi; proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
• Minimum 2 years hotel sales management experience.
• Strong customer service, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategic sales plans to identify, attract and retain hotel business.
• Lead group and meeting sales; coordinate proposals and contracts; manage invoicing.
