Job summary

The Regents of the University of California on behalf of their Los Angeles Campus is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations at The Inn at UCLA and the Luskin Conference Center. You will work with the Executive Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness, guest safety, and service across two properties.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of supervisory housekeeping experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and property

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in housekeeping or rooms supervisory in a similar or larger hotel
• Strong interpersonal communication, political acumen, and cultural responsiveness
• Verbal and written communication with diverse populations and competing priorities
• Ability to maintain high productivity across a broad scope amid interruptions and changing workloads
• Working knowledge of housekeeping policies and sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, offices, and meeting rooms
• Ability to supervise staff, delegate tasks, motivate teams
• Proficient with standard business software (e.g. Microsoft Office) and property management software
• Strong writing skills for schedules, memos, and evaluations
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation rules for housekeeping
• Ability to manage inventories and monitor supplies to control costs
• Budget preparation, analysis, and cost control
• Knowledge of university policies related to HR processes (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead daily housekeeping operations with primary focus on The Inn at UCLA and oversee ~40 full-time staff
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness, guest safety, and service standards in collaboration with the Executive Housekeeper
