Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Guest Service Agent to handle registration, check-out, PBX operations, mail and messages while delivering outstanding guest service. You will advocate for the hotel and create personal, memorable experiences to encourage repeat visits.

Ideal candidates have front desk or customer-facing experience, knowledge of the local area, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; familiarity with hotel systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role preferred.
• Knowledge of local area, services and attractions.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure with high arrivals and departures.
• Familiar with hotel systems and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Register and check-out guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner.
• Answer all calls promptly and knowledgeably, providing complete information.
• Review daily selling status and monitor room availability.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet.
• Open, secure, and balance daily shift cash and transactions.
