Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Guest Service Agent to manage registration and check-out, PBX operations, and mail and message services while delivering outstanding hospitality to guests.

You will be an advocate for the hotel and develop relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits, coordinating with other departments to create personalized experiences at the front desk.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous Front Desk or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of immediate area, services, attractions, and events.
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Familiar with hotel systems and operations, and the ability to enter in information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out hotel guests with confidence, professionalism, and a friendly manner.
• Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, providing complete information.
• Review arrivals and handle special requests and VIPs.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet as needed.
• Open, balance, and reconcile daily shift cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Monitor room availability and assist with yield management and daily selling status.
