Genesis Hospitality in Princeton, New Jersey is seeking a proactive Assistant Manager for a full-time role at an upscale boutique hotel and restaurant. The ideal candidate will lead the front desk team, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold professional standards while managing reservations and staff performance.

Responsibilities include overseeing front desk duties, inventory control, ensuring a clean work environment, and supporting the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Willing to work weekdays/nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform all duties of the Front Desk.
• Monitor and maintain store inventory pars.
• Maintain a very clean work environment
• Monitor daily reservations and make confirmation phone calls as appropriate
• Record all deliveries and any errors
• Coach and support new and existing staff members
• Handle customer reservations and requests over the phone
• Make sure all employees follow company policies and guidelines
• Maintain professionalism and set an example for all staff
• Support General Manager as applicable
• Other duties as assigned
