Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Front of House Associate to deliver outstanding service in our bar/restaurant. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure accurate beverage service while sharing knowledge of our menus with guests.

You should be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, maintain cleanliness, assist with seating and phones, and contribute to a warm, personalized guest experience that encourages guests to return.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar or supportive role.
• Motivated with strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent wine and spirits knowledge.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information.
• Basic math skills for billing and payments.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications, if applicable.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages, processing orders in the POS system accurately.
• Ensure an outstanding guest experience and address any complaints quickly.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, and work areas.
• Set up and break down of stations (deli, dessert, coffee, espresso).
• Prepare drink condiments when necessary.
• Assist with seating guests and answer phones as needed.
• Perform all other sidework.
• We all wear multiple hats and may take on additional responsibilities as needed.
