Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a bartender to deliver exceptional, personalized guest experiences at our bar area. You will greet guests, take orders, pour to spec, and work closely with servers to ensure smooth service while maintaining a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

Ideal candidates bring bartending experience, strong wine and spirits knowledge, and excellent cash handling and presentation skills. Flexible schedule with evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience preferred.
• Passion for crafting personalized guest experiences.
• Excellent wine and spirits knowledge with strong presentation skills.
• Familiarity with credit card and cash handling procedures and tip-out sheets.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Serving Certifications if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promptly serve food and beverages with a courteous, professional approach.
• Pour drinks to spec, process orders in the POS system accurately.
• Serve food and drinks to guests and assist servers as needed.
• Notify a manager if a guest becomes intoxicated or unruly.
• Unpack deliveries and stock the bar; maintain bar cleanliness and organization.
• Follow uniform and grooming standards and cooperate with team members.
• Contribute to a lively, personalized guest experience and team culture.
