Customs and Border Protection is seeking Border Patrol Agents at multiple grade levels to safeguard U.S. borders. The role involves questioning individuals, inspecting documents, and enforcing immigration and customs laws.

Qualifications

• One year of general work experience demonstrating the ability to take charge and work under stress.
• A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study from an accredited college or university.
• A combination of general work experience and education will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders using surveillance and field assets.
• Interpreting tracks, marks, and physical evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of assets to fulfill CBP missions.
