Qualifications

• One year of general work experience showing ability to take charge and learn regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field.
• Combination of general work experience and education considered for qualification.

Responsibilities

• Detect individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspect documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance.
• Interpret tracks, marks and physical evidence of illegal entry.
• Perform farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks.
• Patrol borders and coastal waterways using various assets to fulfill CBP mission.
