Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of general work experience or a bachelor's degree in any field as an Education Substitution.
• Ability to make sound decisions and remain calm under stress.
• Capacity to gather information through questioning and observation.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question people suspected of violations and inspect documents.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders.
• Interpret tracks and evidence of illegal entry and contraband.
• Perform farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks.
• Patrol the international boundary and waterways using diverse assets.
