Qualifications

• One year of general work experience demonstrating the ability to learn regulations and regulations; ability to gather information through questioning and observation.
• Bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree; OR
• Combination of general work experience and education as applicable to GL-5/7/9/GS-11.

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders.
• Interpreting footprints and evidence of illegal entry; conducting various checks.
• Patrolling borders and coastal waterways using government assets for CBP mission.
