U.S. Customs and Border Protection is hiring Border Patrol Agents (BPA) to join a large federal law enforcement team. BPAs operate at multiple grade levels (GL-5 to GS-12) with competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits.

Initial training occurs at the Border Patrol Academy. The role includes patrols, inspections, and enforcement across U.S. borders and coastal areas, with incentives available for prioritized locations and academy completion.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Commitment to national service and public safety responsibilities.
• Combination of experience and education may qualify for higher levels.

Responsabilidades

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws; inspect documents and records.
• Maintain surveillance and apprehend undocumented noncitizens or smugglers.
• Patrol borders and coastal waterways using various government assets.
• Assist with enforcing laws and protecting the public during travel and commerce.
• Complete required training at the Border Patrol Academy and perform duties with professionalism.
