Qualifications

• One year of general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and learn regulations.

Responsibilities

• Detect individuals suspected of violating immigration or customs laws and inspect documents.
• Prevent and apprehend unauthorized noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance.
• Interpret tracks and physical evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Perform multiple site and checkpoint patrols to support CBP mission.
• Patrol borders and waterways using varied assets to accomplish CBP objectives.

Education

Bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course leading to a bachelor's degree
