Books-A-Million in Matthews, NC, is seeking an enthusiastic Seasonal Associate for the 2nd & Charles store. You’ll greet customers, guide them to books, and handle register transactions with accuracy.

Work across departments, including buyback, to create a unique in-store experience. The role is hourly, with a fast-paced retail environment and opportunities to build product knowledge, assist with displays, and support store operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience required.
• 18 years of age or older; background screenings completed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly, help them find products, and ensure quick, accurate checkout.
• Drive sales by recommending products and perks; highlight benefits to customers.
