Job summary

Books A Million is seeking a 2nd & Charles Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and assist with merchandising, cashiering, and sales in a Fayetteville, NC location. You will help customers, stock shelves, and participate in store-wide programs to enhance the shopping experience.

The role emphasizes friendly service, product knowledge, and teamwork with other departments; physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Previous retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Greeting customers and assisting with questions.
• Cashier duties and point-of-sale operations.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier customer service and efficient cashiering.
• Sell products and participate in promotion programs.
• Deliver products to floor per merchandising timelines.
• Restock and reset displays; maintain floor cleanliness.
• Protect assets by following loss prevention standards.
• Support other departments as needed (inventory, restocking, etc.).
