Job summary

Books-A-Million, operating its 2nd & Charles stores, is looking for energetic Associates who love books. This hourly role places you on the sales floor and at the register, helping guests find great reads and complete purchases.

You’ll greet customers, build connections, stock displays, and support other departments as needed. Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll contribute to a fast-paced, friendly shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and help them discover what they’re looking for.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately at the register.
• Create inviting displays and follow merchandising guidelines.
• Assist with stocking, inventory, and keeping the store tidy.
• Support buyback and other departments as needed.
