Job summary

Books-A-Million is seeking an enthusiastic in-store Associate for its 2nd & Charles location. This hourly role involves serving customers on the sales floor and at the register, working across departments including buyback, and helping build a unique in-store experience for every guest.

You’ll greet customers, assist with book discovery, and process transactions while collaborating with team members and store leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Able to greet customers warmly and assist with finding products.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with warmth and enthusiasm, help them find products, and ensure a quick, accurate checkout.
• Drive sales by highlighting benefits and programs to add value to the customer experience.
• Create inviting displays, maintain clean, organized shelves, and restock as needed.
• Handle transactions with care and follow loss prevention standards.
