Job summary

Books-A-Million is hiring for an hourly sales associate at one of its 2nd & Charles locations. You will greet customers, help them discover books, and handle transactions on the floor and register, with opportunities to assist across departments and with buyback when needed.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will contribute to a fast-paced retail environment, maintain displays, and deliver a friendly, knowledgeable experience that keeps customers returning for their next great find.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, genuine greetings and help customers find books and other items.
• Execute sales transactions quickly and accurately at the register.
• Support store operations across departments and maintain clean, inviting displays.
• Protect customers and company by following loss prevention standards.
