Job summary

Books-A-Million is seeking a Bookseller to deliver exceptional customer service, assist customers with questions and orders, and operate the register efficiently. The role includes stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store appearance, while promoting membership programs and other offers.

Candidates should be at least 16 years old and pass necessary background screenings. Strong communication and basic computer and cash handling skills are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions and orders; provide efficient cashiering.
• Promote store programs and memberships.
• Balance cash drawer after each shift per policy.
• Stock and arrange products on the sales floor.
• Maintain clean, organized shelves and store areas.
• Assist in other departments and handle shipments as needed.
