Job summary

Books-A-Million is seeking a Bookseller to provide exceptional customer service and be knowledgeable about books and merchandise in the store.

The role involves greeting customers, assisting with questions and orders, operating the register, and promoting programs like Membership. You will help stock, maintain presentation, and support other departments while upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions and orders, including cashiering.
• Promote membership programs and other company initiatives at POS.
• Balance cash drawer per shift within policy guidelines.
• Stock and arrange merchandise on the sales floor according to guidelines.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Follow loss prevention standards and handle transactions with integrity.
• Assist in other departments and support receiving shipments as needed.
