Books-A-Million is seeking a Bookseller to provide friendly, knowledgeable service, assist customers with questions and orders, and operate the register. You will help with merchandising on the sales floor and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and teamwork, with duties that may include stocking, store upkeep, and assisting with inventory as needed.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and assisting with questions and orders, and efficient cashiering.
• Sales of all products and promotion of store programs (Membership, Educator, etc.).
• Balance cash drawer following each shift per Loss Prevention Policy.
• Deliver and place products on the sales floor per guidelines and timelines.
• Recover the sales floor during each shift; shelving, housekeeping, etc.
• Assist in other departments, receive shipments, and help with inventory.
