Job summary

Books-A-Million is seeking a Bookseller to provide exceptional customer service and assist with orders. You should be knowledgeable about books and store merchandise, proactively helping customers to create an outstanding shopping experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, cash handling, promoting Membership and Educator programs, stocking shelves, and supporting overall store operations and upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions and orders, providing the highest level of customer service.
• Handle cashier duties efficiently and accurately for all transactions.
• Promote point-of-sale initiatives including Membership programs and Educator programs.
• Stock shelves and maintain merchandising guidelines on the sales floor.
• Assist with inventory, receive shipments, and support store housekeeping.
• Adhere to loss-prevention standards and protect company assets.
