Job summary

Books-A-Million is seeking a Bookseller to deliver exceptional customer service, assist customers with questions and orders, and operate the cashier efficiently. You will promote store programs and maintain neat merchandising across the floor.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling transactions, stocking products, and supporting with inventory and store upkeep as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Previous retail sales experience.
• Computer and cash register skills.
• 16 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions and orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service and cashiering.
• Promote membership and store programs.
• Balance cash drawer and follow loss prevention guidelines.
• Restock and merchandise on the sales floor; maintain housekeeping.
