Location: Remote (Philippines-based)

Work Hours: Full-time, 8 AM – 5 PM EST

Rate: $700/month (Negotiable based on experience)

Experience Level: Intermediate (2–5 years)

Software: QuickBooks Online (Required, QuickBooks Certified preferred)

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Virtual Assistant to support our financial operations.

Job Overview

As our Bookkeeping VA, you’ll be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling transactions, and supporting sound financial decisions. This is a remote position suited for someone who works independently, meets deadlines, and communicates effectively.

You will report directly to a third-party financial company that currently oversees bookkeeping operations. You’ll also serve as the liaison between DIY Parts and this third-party firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Accurately record and categorize transactions
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries
  • Handle invoicing, billing, accounts payable, and receivable
  • Maintain timely data entry and keep financial records updated
  • Coordinate with internal team members for budget tracking
  • Support documentation preparation for tax filing and audits
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting (Experience using QBO features required)

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QuickBooks Certification preferred)
  • Familiarity with other accounting software is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Experience with financial reports and reconciliations required
  • Previous experience working remotely is a plus
