Paradigm Senior Services in Miami, FL is seeking a Bookkeeping Manager to oversee a portfolio of home healthcare clients and manage an offshore bookkeeping team. You will review work, ensure month-end close on schedule, and serve as the primary client contact.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in bookkeeping or accounting, 1–2 years supervising remote staff, strong QuickBooks Online skills, and experience with cloud apps like Bill.com, Gusto/ADP, Expensify, and Ramp.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with at least 2 years in a client-facing bookkeeping firm, CPA firm, or outsourced accounting environment
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in supervising or reviewing the work of other bookkeepers (remote or offshore team experience strongly preferred)
Advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency
Solid understanding of accrual vs. cash accounting, reconciliations, and business financial statements
Experience managing multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
Clear, confident, professional written and verbal communication with business owners
Comfortable with cloud accounting apps (e.g., Bill.com, Gusto/ADP, Expensify, Ramp)
Experience with multi-entity clients, or healthcare or professional services preferred
Experience building or maintaining SOPs and onboarding new team members preferred

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of bookkeeping clients, onboarding and issue resolution
Run monthly and quarterly check-ins and explain financial results to owners
Identify scope creep and upsell opportunities to leadership
Maintain client satisfaction and retention and address late documents or errors
Assign, prioritize, and track offshore work across time zones
Review all team output before delivery to clients
Train, coach and give performance feedback
Write and maintain SOPs and client notes
Monitor productivity and address performance gaps
Manage access and data-security practices for offshore staff
Own the month-end close calendar and ensure deadlines are met
Prepare or review monthly financial statements and investigate variances
Handle complex entries and payroll reconciliation
Prepare year-end packages and support CPA/tax team
Improve workflows with automation
Maintain the accounting system status
Contribute to capacity planning and hiring decisions
Learn portfolio and establish cadence with offshore team
Other duties as assigned
