Globaltize is seeking an experienced Accounting & Financial Operations Specialist to manage bookkeeping, oversee financial records, and deliver strategic insights on project profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency.

This full-time role collaborates with ownership and external tax professionals, working remotely from Latin America or the Philippines within EST business hours, aiming to move beyond data entry to influence financial performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, financial analysis, and financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry cost tracking, job costing, and project margin analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and general financial reporting tools.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze cash flow, develop budgets, and recommend financial operational improvements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills when handling financial records.
• Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain QuickBooks Online, including transaction recording, categorization, and account reconciliation.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor bills, and customer invoices.
• Track construction project costs including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
• Prepare financial reports such as Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports.
• Analyze individual project profitability to identify margin improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with the integration between QuickBooks Online and Housecall Pro while coordinating with external tax professionals.
