Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to deliver accurate bookkeeping, payroll, and client service. You will post transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate financial statements to support clients and the franchise network.

You will prepare payroll, handle 1099s and W2s, and maintain confidentiality while communicating with clients and vendors. The role emphasizes accuracy, independence, and timely multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level knowledge not required but strong fundamentals in bookkeeping and payroll are essential.
• Certification in bookkeeping/payroll is preferred or the ability to obtain certifications.
• Experience with general ledger and financial statements is expected.
• Familiarity with tax forms such as 1099s and W2s is a plus.
