H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to deliver precise bookkeeping, payroll processing, and client service across tax-season and year-round engagements.

You will post transactions, reconcile accounts, generate financial statements, and communicate with clients and vendors while maintaining strict confidentiality and attention to detail. Join a high-performing team focused on service, accuracy, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and procedures.
• Ability to interpret instructions, policies and regulations.
• Confidentiality and discretion in handling client data.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers.
• Reconcile and balance accounts.
• Generate and analyze financial statements.
• Prepare and process payroll.
• Generate 1099s and W2s and calculate tax statements.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, vendors and banking contacts.
• Assist in client retention and growth opportunities.
