Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and GAAP procedures.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations.
• Discretion with confidential information essential.

Responsibilities

• Post financial transactions into subsidiary books and general ledgers.
• Reconcile and balance accounts.
• Generate and analyze financial statements.
• Prepare and process payroll.
• Generate 1099s and W2s and prepare tax statements.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, vendors and banking contacts.
• Assist in client retention and growth opportunities.
